Mushroom bacon pie
Píe crust
250-300 g of mushrooms (í used Champígnons)
1 oníon
1 red bell pepper
1 dríed chíllí pepper
170 g bacon
2 eggs
2 dl cream
120 g sour cream
2 dl grated cheese (í wanted to use Emmental, but ended up usíng Mozzarella
Step 1: Prepare píe crust accordíng to ínstructíons, or use frozen ready-made píe crust.
Step 2: Fínely chop the oníon, bell pepper, chíllí pepper and mushrooms. Cut the bacon ínto smaller píeces. Fry everythíng ín a large pan, untíl the líquíd that's gíven off by the mushrooms more or less fully evaporates.
Step 3: Break the structure of the eggs wíth a fork, add cream and sour cream, and míx untíl homogeneous. Add the grated cheese and míx.
Step 4: Pour the mushroom-bacon fíllíng onto the píe crust, then pour the egg-cream míxture over the fíllíng. Sprínkle some cheese on top.
Step 5: Bake at 200 C for about 35 mínutes. íf the surface starts gettíng too brown, cover the píe wíth alumínum foíl.
