Guys, guys. I have a cookbook.


It’s been a long time coming. Nearly a year since I hopped into contract. It’s turned busy days into insane days. Hours of writing. Thousands of tastings. Copyediting, calorie crunching, hair pulling. Throughout it all, the tasks were being checking off, but it seemed vaguely unreal. I’d put in a sentence or a recipe and not really believe it was all going to be bound someday. After all, when you’re typing in uncharted territory, it’s all so oddly unfamiliar.


But on Wednesday, there was a knock on the door, a brown-clad UPS guy, and a box of 20 cookbooks delivered into reality.
